Just saw that I got the cover of the newest issue of Act Snowboarding, a cool French snowboard magazine.

The photo was shot in Vars, France on a Thirty Two demo tour we did throughout Europe last year. The frame was already printed and I had to do a trick within the frame. We ended up with a handplant on a tree with some branch crashing and light/snow explosion.

I loved the idea of shooting a cover with no photoshopping involved. It took quite some time to get the frame right, but it was really fun seeing how they tweaked a pretty set standard for how you're supposed to do a magazine cover.

Thanks Act, Remi and David!

Enlighten by Videograss is finally up on iTunes, head on over and spend those megabyte money.

If you feel more like getting the real deal, head over to KidsKnow Distribution to figure out how to get a dvd.

The snow hasn't been able to cover the dead leaves that currently reminds us that it's still fall. People are probably stressing out already though. Ceveral places over in the US got a nice start to their season already, and I'm sure we will also get our start soon enough.

In the mean time you can pretend like this was a great transition over to this product placement.

The new SPY + Danny Larsen goggle!
To sum up the idea behind the goggle is that I wanted to do a grim reaper goggle. I don't know much about art, so I have no idea what the technique is called, but everything is made by small lines. another fun fact is that the trees in the background are from Darkthrone's Panzerfaust. If you happen to know who Darkthrone is, or even better, if you like Darkthrone, I'm sure that is piece of information you will appreciate.

Head over to SPY + and read more about the goggle and the marshall frame

Good old slimy, wet and grey November.
Yesterday I gave life back to this blog, and today I'm having trouble  coming up with stuff to write about. What a great start!

I am slowly starting to remember why I put this MegaByte-occupier to sleep in the first place,  trying to come up with something interesting is actually pretty damn hard.

A slow start is probably the easiest way out; here are some things that I have done this week.

I watched Skeleton Crew 3: Media Offline which will be online for 24 hours, which means you should check it out now.

SKELETON CREW - MEDIA OFFLINE - FULL MOVIE from Snowboarder Magazine on Vimeo.

If you're not able to watch it, I guess you just have to go ahead and buy it, 'cause it was damn good and you were too late to see it within their strict time-limit.

I had a pleasant hour-long chat with Kim "The Butcher" Schreiner online. It turns out that we are both fond of Those Poor Bastards, drawing, pens, coffee, beer, knives, straight airs, non-double-corks, Larry the penguin's riding, Videograss, dark art, symbols that we feel we can't use because nazis used them, Scott Steven's riding and a lot more. Hmm.. I think we are soon best friends, I just have to wait and see if he's a cat or dog person.

My buddies Odde and Forni are going to start their own home brewery, first batch of India Pike Ale will be ready before Christmas and I'm contemplating a beer strike until I get to try one. Anyway, I made a label for them.

It looks like this will be my first beverage sponsor!

I'm stoked to say I'm taking part of Anti Denim's 666 Frames project.

666 Artists from all over the world gets one frame each from a short, dark and slightly weird video, we will then illustarte each frame however we want, before it is assembled to blast 666 frames of darkness in one short video. The result will also be featured in a book and an exhibiton.

This is my contribution, "Huldra and the Plague", to read more about it, click the pic.

While you're at it, why don't you check out what Lodown Magazine has written about it? Got to say it's kinda cool to have my work featured on that website.

I'm sitting on my couch, working on a L1 outerwear drawing, listening to some rusty-sounding blues and thinking about how I miss writing. To share ideas, experiences and non-sense with whoever is intersted in listening.

First of all, this is not a blog back due to popular demand. The only person I know of that wants me to keep an updated webpage is my grandmother, so this is for her.

I know how much most online people despise reading, so here's a pic as a reward for putting all those silly letters together in the right order, good job internet people.
